Description
This is a modern, retro performance, twin fin and is an easy to ride, loose and fast take on the late 70s design. This little beauty is suited for waves in the 2-5 foot range with a little more curve on the wave face. Great for beach breaks and draining point breaks.
Standard size for a surfer of 75 kgs is 5'8" to 5'10".
The top side:
A flattish deck meets a beveled rail to have the best of both worlds in the volume on the deck, but not on the rails. The Rocket has fluted fliers to drop the rail line even more, which speeds up the rail engaging process and increases grip and projection; and of course a beak nose to tie the rails together. A deep but not too deep swallow tail finishes off the shape nicely.
The bottom side:
This board has a have a generous entry rocker, and a low to medium tail rocker allowing the water to flow easily under the front foot, and out through the double barrel concave and twin channels, set in a V. The Sharp edges behind the fins work well with the fluted flyers to keep the Rocket gripped to the wave face.
