Meet James Wood
James Wood of Wood Surfboards has grown up in the world of surfing performance. He spent his earlier years competing on the QS as a professional surfer, a few years down the track he is quickly becoming one of the better surfer shapers - with progressive, high performance shapes.
James has turned his hand to designing and shaping surfboards of all kinds, however we see his strength is in his performance boards.
James shapes draw from the rich tradition of surfer/ shapers in the North Coast of NSW Australia.
